Man shot dead

CEBU, Philippines - A 33-year-old man was found dead Monday in his house in sitio Balisong, barangay Guba, Cebu City with a gunshot wound on back of head.

Jonell Velasco was found sprawled on the ground at about 12:10 past noon by his father Juanito, 68, who had just arrived home after visiting another son in Talamban, Cebu.

The police, after finding an empty shell of a .45 caliber pistol in the crime scene, have requested for an autopsy.

Velasco's remains were taken to the St. Francis Funeral Homes. — (FREEMAN)
