Inventory of school buildings sought

CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City officials want an inventory of all school buildings in the barangays including those in the islets to determine which of these are structurally sound and therefore safe for students and teachers to occupy this June.

The Lapu-Lapu City School Board has allocated funds to finance the repair and construction of new school buildings in the city.

Mayor Paz Radaza said the improvement of the quality of education in the elementary and high schools is one of the priority programs of the city.
