Disco operator shoots, wounds village councilor

CEBU, Philippines - A barangay councilor of sitio Tungasan in Olango Island, Lapu-Lapu City is now in serious condition after being shot by a disco operator Sunday evening.

Diosdado Juezen, 50, married, and a resident of the place sustained gunshot wounds on his buttocks and abdomen after he was shot by Rail Ompad, 25, a resident of barangay Poblacion in Olango and an operator of a disco mobile system.

Juezen was taken to the Mactan Doctors' Hospital in Lapu-Lapu City while the police are looking for the disco operator who fled after shooting Juezen.
