3 men held for drugs

CEBU, Philippines - Three were arrested during a buy-bust operation in sitio Pilapil in barangay Casun-tingan, Mandaue City Tuesday evening.

The team, led by SPO2 Renato Balle of the Casuntingan police station, arrested Raniel Cuizon also known as Gordon ,40, single, Luis Colinares, 26, single, and Jessie John Abilita, 22, single.

The three men, all residents of the place, were arrested at a basketball court near Cuizon’s house.

PO2 Cedric Castillo, one of the operatives who conducted the buy-bust operation, said Cuizon had long been in the watchlist for drug pushing.

Seized from Cuizon were alleged shabu and the P300 marked money.

But just as the police were about to handcuff Cuizon, police chased two men who had tried to escape arrest.

Seized from Colinares was drug paraphernalia while Abilita yielded alleged shabu.

All three men are now detained at the Casuntingan police station. – THE FREEMAN
