Man arrested for gun, shabu possession

CEBU, Philippines - Operatives of the Intelligence Branch of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office arrested Thursday evening a man who was loitering inside the Lapu-Lapu City public market for gun possession.

The operatives were patrolling the public market when they spotted Manuel Mangubat and suspected something was tucked in his waist.

So they frisked him and found a loaded .38 cal. revolver and a pouch containing alleged shabu.

Mangubat is now detained while charges are being prepared.— (FREEMAN)
