Customer robs parlor

CEBU, Philippines - A robber had his hair cut before robbing the beauty parlor in sitio Humay-Humay in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City last Thursday afternoon.

Teresita Flores, manager of Swayne Aesthetic Beauty Salon said the robber in his 20's dropped by the parlor for a haircut at around 5 p.m. Thursday.

When the beautician was done with him, he stood up, approached Flores who thought the man was going to pay for the service, picked up a pair of scissors and declared a holdup.

All Flores could give to the robber was P100 because she had already turned over the day's earnings to the owner an hour ago.

When the beautician saw the manager being held-up, she lifted a chair and struck the man once, which caused him to flee.

Meanwhile, a man who on his way home on foot in sitio Bayabas in barangay Casuntingan Thursday night was held up by two men on a motorcycle.

Arve Bentulan, 20, was alone when two men blocked his path and announced a hold-up.

They took his cellular phone and P1,700.— (FREEMAN)
