Indian money lender robbed, shot

CEBU, Philippines - An Indian national is now in critical condition after being shot by two unidentified men in sitio Sombria, barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City.

Danny Singh, a resident of Cebu City, was about to leave the area after collecting payment from clients when the two men grabbed his bag and shot his back, the bullet exiting from his chest.

The police believe the shot came from a .45 cal. pistol.

He was brought to the Talisay District Hospital but was later on transferred to a Cebu City hospital.

Police said Singh, who is a money lender, was about to board his motorcycle when the robbers came.
