Trisikad driver held for "rape"

CEBU, Philippines - The police in barangay Subangdaku in Mandaue City have arrested an 18-year-old trisikad driver for allegedly raping and molesting his two cousins, aged 14 and 19 years old, in a house in Lower Tipolo, Mandaue City Thursday.

Rolitio Ouano,18, was arrested after the girls' uncle, after hearing what happened to the girls, sought police assistance.

Investigator SPO1 Alfredo Andales said Ouano and the girls live with their grandmother in barangay Tipolo. The girls' parents live in Consolacion town.

The 14-year-old girl claimed the last time Ouano raped her was Thursday dawn, but the raping started in 2004 yet when she was still seven years old, and Ouano still 11 years old.

Her elder sister also alleged there were times in the past when Ouano would fondle her private parts.

Ouano is now detained at the Subangdaku police station. (FREEMAN)
