More projects eyed for Cordova, Consolacion

CEBU, Philippines - Sixth District Rep. Gabriel "Luigi" Quisumbing hopes that he can secure more projects for the towns of Cordova and Consolacion and Mandaue City on the first quarter of this year.

In a talk with The FREEMAN, Rep. Quisumbing said he hopes the funds to finance the different priority projects lined up by his office for the implementation in the district would be released soon.

According to Quisumbing, he has talked with the Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Education, and other national government agencies regarding the projects.

The sixth district solon said different departments have adopted new measures in the implementation of projects which are based on the new guidelines released by the Commission on Audit.

Quisumbing said the new leadership of House Speaker Felicisimo Belmonte has adopted new measures for the implementation of projects.

"Lahi na gayud hinoon karon ang mga paagi nga gisagop ni Speaker Belmonte," said Quisumbing. – (FREEMAN)
