Village officials to attend seminar on garbage

CEBU, Philippines - Barangay captains and officials in Lapu-Lapu City will undergo Solid Waste Management Law seminar, an attempt by the city to teach them the proper way of disposing of garbage, as the city intensifies its garbage collection campaign.

City Mayor Paz Radaza said the city government will tap the services of barangay captains in this particular campaign.

Radaza said before the campaign starts, she wants to be certain that all barangay officials know the law.
