MANILA, Philippines — Jose Rizal University went on a scoring rampage and buried a listless San Sebastian, 102-78, to boost its stock in NCAA Season 102 at the PhilSports Arena.

After a sputtery start, the Bombers stepped on the gas starting in the second quarter and sustained it the rest of the way in snaring their fifth victory in six starts to remain at second in Group A.

St. Benilde stayed atop the first group with a 6-1 record after it outlasted Arellano U, 94-82.

Lawrence Mangubat and Chris Hubilla continued to be JRU’s 1-2 punch with the former finishing with 20 points, eight assists and three steals and the latter ending up with 14 markers, 11 rebounds and three dimes.
