MANILA, Philippines - Word on the street is Style Origin 2014 just hit Bonifacio High Street, and in true High Street fashion, the show delivered OOTD-worthy fashion inspiration that can go from nine to night — one of the distinct characteristics of city wear. A favorite hangout for all ages, Bonifacio High Street was the best stop for a Style Origin fashion show with a street style vibe, which started with the Philippine All Stars opening with a neon fashion party that exuded urban cool. The series’ Mensweek show also made an appearance, featuring the designs from the country’s top designers. The main event sent looks from favorite brands down the runway, all of them with a dressed-up yet relaxed feel and versatile styling that can go from work, to play, to chilling at any of Bonifacio High Street’s popular after-party hangouts.

Style Origin is an annual lifestyle series of the Ayala Malls and it has been changing the face of retail over the last four years. Along with fashion shows, it presents venues through which the market can pick the brains of experts. This year, it has put together picks from top fashion editors Regina Belmonte of YStyle, Peewee Isidro and Patrick Galang for Mega, Bianca Gonzales and Rainier Dagala of Meg, and Kate Paras and Elaine Carag for Chalk. Held in partnership with The Philippine STAR, Star World, Shokubutsu Hana Shampoo and Systema Tooth and Gum Care, Style Origin promises more weekends of fun and fashion throughout the next two months at an Ayala Mall near you.

From 9 to night
