As the back of the label promises, yes, you will feel your face pulsate! That’s because the main ingredient of the mask is bentonite clay, which absorbs up to 180 times its own weight. I had a particularly gnarly breakout on my forehead earlier this week, so I spread the mask half an inch thick on my face, left it on for an hour and it was intense! It literally felt like a workout for my face. I had to be extremely careful when taking it off, though because it felt like the mask had adhered to my skin before hardening. I rubbed Cetaphil to soften it, then gently patted a washcloth dipped in warm water until it fell off in clumps.
