MANILA, Philippines - This month’s edition of the YStyle logo is brought to you by Mark Salvatus of Boy Agimat, the design team responsible for those tongue-in-cheek canvas tote bags inscribed with the phrase “Not Made in China.”
Salvatus, recently feted for his Ateneo Art Gallery exhibit “Territories,” which Patrick Flores calls “a pilgrimage of sorts, a peregrination from (Salvatus’) hometown to the metropolis,” is a recipient of numerous grants and awards, including a recent residency in New York for last year’s Ateneo Art Awards-Art OMI International Artist Project Grant.
