YStyle Picks: Talk of the town

Turn to the Silverlens Gallery for help. Beginning Jan. 27 (that’s tomorrow), the country’s only gallery dedicated to modern photography will host a series of art talks alongside the exhibit of Wawi Navarroza’s photographys entitled "Saturnine." Understanding Photographs: Types and Context by professor Judy Freya Sirayan starts off the talk program, followed by Seeing in Metaphors: Myths & Archetypes by professor and poet Nerisa del Carmen Guevara (Feb. 3 at 3-5 pm) and, finally, The Other Side of Wonderland: Wawi Navarroza Artist Talk (Feb. 10 at 3-5 pm).
