Lancome leads the revolution against brown spots with its latest product, Blanc Expert NeuroWhite. Top photographers Pat Dy, Xander Angles, Raymund Isaac, Victor Consunji and Jo Ann Bitagcol were invited to interpret the theme "radiant beauty." I asked the ladies at the M Café launch about their brightening secrets and de-stressing tips.

What’s your secret to keeping your skin healthy after a stressful day?


I keep it luminous so it looks awake! Just drink lots of water, have a healthy skin regimen and think happy thoughts.

Knowing my efforts in life are all worthwhile when I get those hugs and kisses from my family.

A good workout helps. I find that if I feel good the inner and outer glow just happen on its own.

How do you deal with stress?


When I get a pocket of free time, I stay at home. We have everything we want there and my husband stocks DVDs and ice cream. Stress doesn’t know where I live!

What is your favorite holiday spot to de-stress?


Palawan is the best! There is so much to do and I love how they are very eco-conscious. Everything there is just so beautiful and relaxing.

How do you manage to retain a youthful glow?


Skincare, diet and exercise are essential. Also Buddhist chanting is a spiritual boost.

I spend it reconnecting with family and friends. I also devote some time to pampering myself with salon visits and a weekly brightening face mask.

Any special de-stressing techniques to end a long day?


Taking a long walk around Alabang in the late afternoon. It’s cool and the breeze is calming. It’s a great way to exercise, think and de-stress.

What’s your favorite comfort food that relaxes you?


Chocolate! I am a chocoholic to begin with but the craving becomes a beast, demanding to be fed when I am stressed.
