Ateneo’s AJMA creates a mardi gras night

The Ateneo Junior Marketing Association(AJMA) together with Groove Nation, Smart, Jag and Sari-Sari recently celebrated the massive "Shindig 2003: The Mardi Gras" festivities in one jam-packed night at the cavernous Manansala Carpark at the Rockwell Center.

Fireeaters, acrobats and stiltwalkers entertained the guests. Hordes of hip, young guests were given traditional beads upon entrance and were treated to a fashion show by Sari-Sari. Featuring the hottest and freshest faces on campus, models wore Mardi-Gras inspired garbs decked with colorful masks and beads. Models also wore the latest timepieces from Technomarine and makeup by Shiseido and Bench Fix Salon. Past midnight, fireworks adorned the sky as four Brazilian party girls in glitzy parade costumes danced to frantic sounds of Groove Nation’s Toti D. and Cyril. Surprise host Joey Mead picked out lucky guest Diane Cowper as the winner of a new Technomarine watch. Guests partied till wee hours of the morning.
