Radisson Hotel Group continues to introduce world-class hospitality to Vietnam’s most exciting emerging destinations, with the signing of three new hotels on the country’s captivating coastline.
Radisson Blu Resort, Quy Nhon is nestled on Vietnam’s pristine south-central coast in Binh Dinh province, approximately halfway between the cities of Nha Trang and Hoi An. Slated to open in 2023, the resort will offer a choice of 120 contemporary rooms and suites in the main building and 160 stand-alone villas, surrounded by lush landscaped gardens. The resort will feature an exceptional array of leisure facilities, restaurants, bars and function spaces.
Quy Nhon is home to many natural and cultural attractions, including ancient Cham temples, traditional fishing villages, idyllic islands and picturesque pagodas. Phu Cat Airport, which offers direct flights to and from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, is less than an hour’s drive away.
In Q2 2020, Radisson Hotel Danang will open, introducing the Radisson brand to the largest city on Vietnam’s central coast. This landmark hotel is currently under construction in the city’s central Phuoc My Ward, overlooking the sea. The property will feature 182 rooms and suites, most with ocean views, a restaurant, lounge, spa, fitness center, a swimming pool with pool bar and modern meeting spaces.
With its long sandy seafront, cultural attractions and extensive leisure facilities, including a choice of golf courses, Danang is a key tourist destination. Danang International Airport, which is just 10 minutes’ drive from the hotel, is directly connected to many important mega cities including Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei.
Lastly, in Q1 2021, Radisson Hotel Quang Binh will open on the charming seafront city of Dong Hoi. This elegant colonial-style building is being completely redeveloped to Radisson’s international brand standards. Upon opening, this downtown hotel will feature a restaurant, lobby lounge, swimming pool, fitness center, ballroom and meeting spaces.
Dong Hoi is located on Vietnam’s north-central coast, 266km north of Danang, and is the capital of Quang Binh province. Visitors to the area can discover a series of beautiful beaches or head to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, which is home to the world’s largest cave, Son Doong. Dong Hoi Airport offers regular direct connections with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and plans are in place to operate regular flights to international destinations in the future.
“Vietnam is one of the world’s most attractive countries, with strong economic growth, a vibrant culture and spectacular scenery. Danang has emerged as an important regional hub for business and leisure travel, while Quy Nhon and Dong Hoi are prime locations about to open up to international tourism. Our upscale Radisson and upper-upscale Radisson Blu are perfectly suited to domestic and overseas guests in these up-and-coming destinations,” said Katerina Giannouka, President, Asia Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group.
Radisson Hotel Group has embarked on a significant expansion strategy in Vietnam. Its upper-upscale Radisson Blu brand is already present in Phu Quoc and Cam Ranh, and will soon launch in Hoi An, while the upscale Radisson brand will soon debut in Phu Quoc. Whichever hotel guests choose, every stay will be underpinned by Radisson Hotel Group’s unique ‘Yes I Can!’ service philosophy.
