MANILA, Philippines - October starts the season of mushrooms in Europe, and InterContinental Manila’s famed fine dining restaurant Prince Albert Rotisserie will feature selections of soups, appetizers and main courses that ingenuously marry the exciting flavors and textures of meat and mushrooms from Oct. 15 to 22.
Among the must-try dishes in Prince Albert’s special menu are Warm Chicken and Mushroom Parfait with Pan-seared Duck Foie Gras, Caramelized Red Onion and Dressed Arugula Leaves; Grilled Portobello Mushroom on Toasted Garlic Brioche with Balsamic Vinegar and Rosemary; Slow-braised Veal Cheek with Cepes and Morels in a Flaky Pastry Case on Port Wine Jus; Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Asparagus Spears and Truffle Beurre Blanc; US Beef Tenderloin and Pan-seared Duck Foie Gras with a ragout of Forest Mushroom, and Poached Cod with Chanterelles and Asparagus in Dill Cream Sauce.
The Prince Albert Rotisserie is open for lunch from Monday to Friday noon to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner from Monday to Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. In addition to the main dining section, the restaurant has three enclosed salons for guests desiring more privacy.
