MANILA, Philippines - City Garden Hotel Makati recently honored its top corporate accounts in an intimate cocktails-and-dinner program held at the hotel’s Roofdeck and Garden Hall.

Now on its 15th year, the three-star business hotel counts among its loyal clientele multinational companies, embassies and top Philippine companies.

With its concept of “affordable luxury stays” and year-round promos, among others, it has successfully attracted guests, thus consistently maintaining high occupancy rates despite growing competition in the market.

General manager Johnny Rios welcomed the representatives of the top corporate accounts and expressed gratitude for their unswerving loyalty to City Garden Makati through the years.

The top accounts were later awarded with trophies and treated to a raffle that gave away valuable prizes, plus gift bags for all guests.

Guests were entertained with two dance performances, including a flamenco number rendered by the sales and marketing team, as well as music from an acoustic duo.

The evening also became the occasion to announce the launch of City Garden Grand, slated to open in May as the newest addition to the City Garden hotel group, and City Life, the group’s loyalty card.

Arnold Tence, City Garden Grand’s incoming general manager, shared with the audience what is in store for guests of the new hotel through a video presentation, while Shyline Bernardo, City Garden Makati’s director of sales and marketing, explained the features of the City Life card and the benefits that holders can enjoy such as discounts, gift certificates and other privileges.

The program concluded with brief remarks by Bernardo who thanked everyone, especially guests from the top accounts, expressing hopes to host them again in next year’s awards night.
