Kota Kinabalu is where Southeast Asia’s highest peak can be found, Mt. Kinabalu.  Standing at 4,095 meters or 13,435 feet, Mt. Kinabalu offers climbers a challenging trek or perhaps a relaxing hike for others.  Kinabalu National Park, located just outside the city, is one of the most popular ecotourist destinations in the region and is considered an important biodiversity site with over 4,500 species.  The park became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, the first in Malaysia.  Other places of interest in Kota Kinabalu include Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, composed of five islands and only 10-20 minutes away via speedboat from the city, and popular among tourists and locals alike for snorkeling, diving and relaxation.  Kota Kinabalu is also a major jump-off point to Borneo Island and Sabah, renowned for its lush forests and coral reefs.  Travelers can opt for day trips to Likas Bird Sanctuary and The Green Connection, an aquarium focused on conservation of endangered species.

The Seair-Tiger Airways Partner Airline Program allows Seair to distribute its seats through Tiger Airways’ established internet booking system, www.tigerairways.com.  Seair is the first Tiger Airways Partner Airline in the Asia Pacific region.
