There is Youth For Understanding (YFU) — an international, educational and cultural student exchange program specifically for high school students. This program seeks to transform young people (between the ages of 15 to 17) by instilling passion for life, long learning and the skills and knowledge to thrive and contribute amidst cultural diversity. It will change how you think of yourself and your view of our global community.
YFU believes this full immersion into a culture is the most effective means of international education which will be increasingly relevant for generation to come.
YFU/Philippines offers a variety of exchange opportunities among which is its one academic year program to the United States for School Year 2012-13. Eligibility criteria and financial requirements are available upon request.
