Navasero’s amazing Batanes photo safari

MANILA, Philippines - Known for “romancing the objects of her shoots with abundance,” Mandy Navasero has been conducting annual photography workshops in paradise-like Batanes since 2006. Batanes is an indescribable gift of nature to the northernmost tip of the Philippine archipelago. Batanes’ hills and deep blue ocean serve as backdrops for Mandy’s outdoor classroom, where she gives tips and demonstrates how to shoot portraiture, glamour, architectural, landscapes/seascapes, jumpology and macro photography. Schedules for 2014 are: Jan. 17 to 20, February 17 to 21 (5D/4N); March 28 to 31 (Holy Week); April 18 to 21; and May 2 to 5. All other scheds are 3N/4D.

Batanes offers double the fun with Mandy Navasero, who makes her participants better photographers and models. A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, major in advertising and illustration, she enjoys sharing the joy with photo enthusiasts and beginners. The workshop is open to company outing, foreigners and local tourists. Those interested are encouraged to register early. Call 896-3208 or 0915-5430482 or e-mail luzamandolina@yahoo.com.
