Aspire for Acer

MANILA, Philippines - Anchored on the mantra “Curious, progressive, human,” which are Acer brand values, the newest notebook series packs all these qualities in a gadget.

The Aspire V5 Series features slimmed-down mobile convenience in 14-inch display sizes — including models with 10-point touchscreens. It is available in mellow colors, has a light chassis, and continous airflow that keeps it cool to the touch. It is powered by the second-generation, quad-core AMD A8 processor and uses the latest Windows 8 operating system.

Executives from Acer and AMD led the event dubbed “Digital Life: More Stylish, More Brilliant” held recently in Makati City.

In attendance were Brian Slattery, AMD director for Asia Pacific and Japan consumer sales and strategic accounts; Dio Vasquez, senior product manager, Acer Philippines; Manuel Wong, general manager, Acer Philippines; and Sally Yu, AMD Philippines sales development ,anager for MNC accounts; and Agnes Neria-Espino, sales and marketing director, Acer Philippines.

Manuel Wong addressed the media and other special guests during the events where he showcased Acer’s products using the latest AMD processors. 

To stress his point about the power of the latest AMD processors and the benefits it brings to IT enthusiasts and customers, Brain Slattery explained how the latest batch of AMD processors will help change the landscape of modern personal computing and gaming.

Adding color and spectacle to the launch were the “cosplayers” who took centerstage along with the Acer laptops with AMD processors.
