MANILA, Philippines - The 1st Endurance-CPK relay team bagged first place in the recently concluded Ironman Cebu relay event recently. The team members are swimmer Evan Uy, cyclist Warren Davadilla, and runner Carlo Pedregosa. The team finished the race in four hours and 14 mins. to win the gold in the corporate division.
The team dedicates their win to the Cancer Kids of the National Children’s Hospital. Since, 2010, the team has been raising support and awareness for NCH’s “Ease the Pain Day,” which provides medical supplies, regular children’s parties, and fun activities for kids battling cancer.
“Our triathlon team believes that the cancer kids are the true warriors and endurance champions who battle cancer everyday,” says team owner Richie Coronel Santos. “That’s why we together with our partners 1st Endurance, CPK, Spyder, Century Bangus, Super 8, Regent Properties, Manila Hearing Aid, Esprit, PF Chang’s,Newton Running Shoes, Runnr, SYA will always be there to support them.”
