MANILA, Philippines - The Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes romance raised many eyebrows in the beginning of their relationship. The then -controversial couple was seen in almost all publications, television shows, and radios — local or foreign. While many believed that the divorce blow will turn into an ugly fight, Tom’s litigator friend, Bert Fields, sided with the actor in saying “I know Tom is not a particularly contentious person,” even saying the divorce will turn out harmoniously.
