An intelligent way to use time

Manila, Philippines -  You can call them watches with a high IQ: the new breed of watches called Timex Intelligent Quartz.

Timex Intelligent Quartz uses up to three additional, independently-powered hands, plus digital sensors, or micro-processors to display an array of useful information.

This doesn’t take away from its user-friendly functionality, durability, reliability and practicality, in terms of having longer battery life. Timex IQ watches also introduce a sleek look that positions sub-dials of day and months to non-traditional parts of the watch for better visibility.

In terms of technology, Timex IQ delivers some of the most innovative functions never before seen on a watch. Perpetual Calendar Movement is programmed to give people the correct date –– even up to the year 2100 –– and displays the complete month, day of month, and day of the week. Fly-back Chronograph Movement denotes the ability to stop the chronograph at each lap to note the lap time, it will “fly-back” to the proper current reading for the total time being measured. Tide Temp Compass Movement helps you find the right direction at any time of the day and enables you to track tide and determine temperature. The Altimeter Movement enables a stylish look, but with the main functionality of determining altitude ranging from -400 to 25,000 feet. All innovations also include an Indiglo Night-Light feature.

There is the Timex T Series that comes with the Perpetual Calendar, there’s also the Timex SL Series that comes with the Fly-back Chronograph, the Timex Tide Temp Compass and Timex Compass, and lastly, the Timex Altimeter, all of them includes the Intelligent Quartz.
