Christian Family Movement holds 31st national convention

MANILA, Philippines - The Christian Family Movement of the Philippines will hold its 31st Biennial National Convention from Oct. 21 to 23 at the Adamson University in Manila.

This year’s theme is “Building Tomorrow, Today.”

The event provides an opportunity to meet old friends, to renew acquaintances, and to have more friends. It’s also the time to elect the new executive vice president and the area vice president for each of the areas namely Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Mario and Inday Nery, the current EVP, take over from Roger and Naty Dayan the position of president couple. Together with the newly elected national officers, they will be inducted into office by Msgr. Manuel Gabriel, the CFM National Chaplain during the eucharistic celebration on Oct. 23.

CFM will also conduct livelihood workshops for their members. CFM Committees for the 31st biennial convention are the following: ways and means  (Rene and Conce Peronilla); souvenir program  (Rene and Inday Pronstroller); secretariat (Al and Lulu Villacorte); physical arrangement  (Rem Toledano); food (Mario and Inday Nery, Grace and Elliot Kam); clergy night (Chilla Lirag); awards/recognition (Mel and Emma Ricafrente); liturgical  (Elliot and Grace Kam); and program (Roger and Naty Dayan).
