MANILA, Philippines - Oreo is inviting all mothers and their children to the “Oreo Bungee Dunking” event today at the activity area of the Alabang Town Center.
Oreo hopes to increase the awareness on the fact that a mother’s bonding time with her kids can make a great impact on the child’s growing-up stage.
“We need to nurture our children from the time we give birth to them till they become young adults,” says Jennifer B. Wieneke, mother of four rambunctious boys, and VP of Draftfcb, an advertising agency. “By doing the simplest thing with our kids, we cement our relationship with them for life. When my children were younger, our favorite weekend activity was huddling around the TV with Oreo and chips in tow, watching funny movies. It became like a ritual that my kids looked forward to and still remember till today.”
“When I am with my son, Isaac, I delight in helping him with his maps and books. Our bonding moments become more special with his sister Cara and our Oreo ritual. Even when I am at work, I make it a point to check up on them by constantly calling them at home and texting them about their homework,” shares Cay Camarillo, mother of two and on-line English tutor at goFLUENT Phils.
Both Jenny and Cay believe that a mother should also be her children’s best friends. She is a companion to her kids through good times and bad times, a buddy through happy and sad moments. Mom is someone who stands beside her children, listening to their joys and pains. And the child knows that Mommy will be there for him throughout the years.
Join The Oreo Bungee Dunking activity and make bonding moments more exciting as the kids get to enjoy fun time by bungee jumping into a glass of milk, just like an Oreo dunks into milk. The event is open to all children, seven to 12 years old, accompanied by a parent. All they have to do is present three empty Oreo Snack Packs at the entrance to the activity area to participate.
