MANILA, Philippines - The new French Ambassador to the Philippines Thierry Borja de Mozota was honored in a cocktail reception by Consul Fortune Aleta-Ledesma of Monaco, Consul Agnes T. Huibonhua of Gambia, and Betty Chua.
After a short message by Consul Ledesma introducing the Ambassador, a toast was offered by Consul Huibonhua, who was joined by retired Supreme Court Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban, Washington SyCip, Betty Chua, and Consul Ledesma. The event was also graced by Taguig Mayor Freddie Tinga and his wife Kaye.
The Ambassador surprised guests by thanking them in perfectly accented Tagalog.
