The Peninsula Manila, Kodak Nexpress Digital and Volvo present “Rupert Jacinto Celebration: Three Fabulous Decades,” to be held in a gala cocktail on Dec. 9 at The Peninsula Manila.
This two-fold event will launch the grand photo exhibit and the coffeetable book bearing the same title. This limited-edition is printed by Kodak in Australia, and published in cooperation with RPA and Communicate. The book will be available during the launch.
Jacinto, international portrait photographer to the rich and famous, has elevated photography to new heights by combining his elegant trademark style with surrealism. One hundred dazzling new portraits will be beautifully displayed in an installation designed by Jaime Ponce de Leon. The canvas portrait murals were printed by Metro One and Hewlett-Packard, with frames by Johnny Soriano. A video installation by Ground Productions will be presented during cocktails.
Guest of honor is Imelda Romualdez Marcos, assisted by Mellie Ablaza, honorary consul of the Republic of Guatemala in Manila.
