Philippine-Italian Association partners with Rustan’s for annual Christmas bazaar

MANILA, Philippines - The prestigious Philippine-Italian Association partners with the country’s leading luxury retailer, Rustan’s Department Store, and global banking giant Citibank, for the highly anticipated event Christmas Bazaar 2013.

To be held on Nov. and 17 at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang, the bazaar will offer Rustan’s signature brands at discounted prices of up to 70 percent.  Customers will enjoy shopping for popular brands of Rustan’s and SSI, as well as 100 local concessionaires of fine handmade and original products made in the Philippines.

Organizing this event is the PIA board of directors and members led by president Zenaida Tantoco and bazaar chairperson Marilou Alejandro, together with Nellie Bengzon, Chit Montenegro, Tillie Pellagalo, Gabriella Musitelli Wegfahrt and JP dela Vega. This one of a kind partnership between the Philippine-Italian Association, Rustan’s and Citibank aims to generate funds that will benefit Servants of Charity, the Sisters and Handmaids of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, and Canossians Sons of Charity. 

Founded in 1962, the Philippine-Italian Association is a non-profit organization whose main goal is to strengthen the ties between the Philippines and Italy through culture and the arts. Through the organization of bazaars, the association has been able to fulfill its mission to not just help strengthen the friendship between the two countries but also help organizations that deeply cares for the impoverished.

This luxury Christmas bazaar is also supported by CATS Motors, Wayfair Tours, and Guepel Properties. More than fashion and lifestyle items, the bazaar with also have a showcase of CATS Motors’ luxurious cars, while food enthusiasts will be treated to a cooking demo and deli fare of delicious Italian food.
