MANILA, Philippines - It’s time to share your photos on Facebook, this time featuring your canine and feline friends. Capture your pets in their most adorable poses, upload them on the Bow & Wow contest home page, and win loads of quality pet goodies.
Bow & Wow provides just the stage for Facebook users to upload and share cute, funny, and endearing photos of their pets based on a given theme. To participate, simply visit the Bow & Wow contest homepage (http://apps.facebook.com/bowandwow/).
The Bow & Wow Petparazzi photo upload contest for dogs and cats got off to a kicking start. Eager pet owners uploaded great photos of their pet pooches and cats flashing their cutest smiles, in line with the theme, “Say woof or meow!” The next theme is “Chow Time,” which highlights pets enjoying their favorite meal or treat.
“We cooked up the contest because we understand that if you’re a pet parent, you’d want to show off your pet and participate in an activity that’ll allow you to bond with other pet parents,” Pam Suarez, Bow & Wow brand manager said.
Contest participants may join the upcoming contests with themes and see their furry friends in the Bow & Wow contest home page gallery. Featured pets who will receive the most number of votes may emerge among the big winners by end of September. The theme for Sept. 6-19, is “Perfectly Pampered” so photos uploaded must show pets being groomed, taking a bath, getting spa treatment, and so on. On Sept. 20 to 30, the special theme is “My Bow & Wow Day Out” which must show pets with their favorite Bow & Wow product. A photo of a pet in the Bow & Wow store will also be accepted as an entry.
The grand prize winner of the Bow & Wow Petparazzi Photo Upload Contest will get a full year’s supply of Bow & Wow products. The winning pet will also be featured on the cover of Bow & Wow Times. The biweekly winner will receive a P2,500 Bow & Wow gift certificates. Bi-weekly winners will be announced at Sept. 6 and Sept. 20. Grand prize and consolation prize winners will be announced by end of September. Winners will be notified through email, mobile SMS, and Facebook fanpage announcement
The criteria for judging are broken down as follows: relevance to the theme (25 percent); creativity (25 percent); and votes cast by users (50 percent).
The top 10 entries with the most number of votes after the contest period will be shortlisted and evaluated by the Bow & Wow panel. From these, one will be selected as the grand prize winner and three will be awarded with consolation prizes.
The three consolation prize winners will get Bow & Wow gift certificates: P5,000 for 1st Runner Up, P3,000 for 2nd for Runner Up, and P2,000 for 3rd Runner Up. Two special theme winners (one dog and one cat) will receive three months worth of Bow & Wow products, and will also be featured in the next issue of Bow & Wow Times.
