We can all forgive Andrea Bocelli, the world’s most beloved tenor, for the anxiety as we waited with bated breath for him at Caruso Ristorante Italiano in Makati City. It was, after all, the morning after his successful one-night performance at Mall of Asia Arena for his “Cinema World Tour.” Well-known personalities at the exciting brunch included Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno and Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines president Sergio Boero. Restaurant owner Emilio Mina, who sang an Italian pop song for Bocelli (who later joined in with his wife Veroncia Berti), was proud to have the acclaimed Italian tenor under his roof to launch the famous wines and prosecco from Bocelli’s family vineyard to the Philippine market. Caruso Ristorante Italiano truly lived up to its name. Classic appetizers and spirits, and an internationally famous tenor in the house — how authentically Italian could it be?

Dr. Belo fondly shared as well how hard work paved the way for the continuous growth of the country’s leading medical group, adding that the company recently opened its 12th clinic at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
