It was definitely an evening like no other as iconic movie stars gathered at the Mayuree Ballroom of Dusit Thani Manila to celebrate the birthday of your columnist. All the glitz and glamour of Hollywood was evident the entire night as everyone was dressed to the nines, looking regal and dapper while enjoying the premium selection of spirits for the evening — special wine from Tita Trillo of Titania Wine Cellar and Johnny Walker Gold Label Reserve from Randy Uson of Diageo Philippines. Multi-awarded singer and theater actress Pinky Marquez gave a standout performance as she sang a roster of popular and well-loved movie theme songs. The lovely evening was made more exciting with the awarding of the best celebrity look-alikes as chosen by the esteemed selection committee composed of Boysie Villavicencio, Dr. Clare Palabyab and Martin Lopez. The top celebrity standouts received amazing prizes from our generous sponsors namely Belo Medical Group, Bulgari Philippines, Coby’s Design Center, CWC International Corporation, Hermes Philippines, Smart Infinity and Wilcon Depot.
