MANILA, Philippines - You deserve a vacation. How often has this thought crossed your mind? Sure, you have your scheduled annual leave, when you can get that well-deserved break from work.
But what if you can actually enjoy a vacation every day or at least something that feels like it after a long and busy day at work? What if you can come home at the end of each day to a quiet and tranquil place, away from the urban chaos and congestion?
Serin East Tagaytay is Avida Land’s latest residential development in bucolic Tagaytay. Located along the diversion road connecting Aguinaldo Highway and Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, less than a kilometer from the rotunda, it’s just about an hour and a half drive away from Metro Manila. Tagaytay had long been a favorite weekend getaway and summer vacation destination, with its cool highland climate and laid-back charm. With the new residential development, there is no reason why your temporary retreat should not become your permanent address.
Originally conceived as vacation condominiums, 70 percent of the buyers are actual end users, says Sarah Fortez, area manager of the project and strategic management group.
“Only 30 percent bought for investment or as a second home, with OFWs accounting for 60 percent,” she says.
Serin East Tagaytay is the second phase of the Avida residential development in Tagaytay. Serin West, which was launched in 2012 with two towers, is all sold out.
Avida Land, the affordable property developer of Ayala Land, the largest property developer in the country, stays consistent with the high standard of quality that Ayala Land is known for. Avida’s property developments are situated in strategic locations and sold at affordable prices, targeting the broad middle segment of the market. “Avida provides sure, secure and sensible developments as it continues its mission to provide an enriched living experience to more Filipinos,” Avida Land marketing head, Tess Tatco, noted.
Serin East will have four towers, with 23 sq. m. studio units and 30 sq. m. studio units with balcony, at 2.6 M; 41 sq. m. one-bedroom units at 4.1 M, and 62 sq. m. two-bedroom units at P5.7 M.
“The development is not massive, unlike others in the area. It’s designed to match the natural landscape. It follows the natural terrain and does not obstruct the view. It’s generous with its open space,’ says Tatco. “The amenities are not typical,” Tatco says. “The resort-type pool is bigger. There are pocket parks, playgrounds and a bi-level clubhouse. There are two levels of parking space and ten residential floors.”
Our Lady of Lourdes Church is a short walking distance away. And just across is Ayala Malls Serin, the newly-opened commercial development that offers the community a wide range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
“There’s a new generation of homeowners,” Tatco observes. “They are the millennials. They are young couples or young families, and this could be their first home. We are also attracting people who may have businesses in the Cavite and Laguna areas, as well as retirees and balikbayans.”
“With Serin East Tagaytay, we are fusing the best that Tagaytay has to offer — its idyllic appeal and natural beauty — with the comforts of modern living, giving residents limitless options for their leisure and lifestyle yearnings,” Tatco noted.
Tatco says the name Serin was coined from the word serene, to connote calm, peace and quiet. “It’s a breather from the hussle and bussle of the city,” she says. “At Serin East Tagaytay, every day is like a vacation.”
