A Frenchman shares his art with Manilans

Congratulations to the brilliant New York-based Alexander Charriol for a  successful exhibit of his latest artworks at Altro Mondo Arte Contemporanea in Greenbelt 5, Makati.  Seen at the opening reception of Charriol’s “Human Flow IV” exhibit were National Artist Arturo Luz, renowned artist Betsy Westendorp, noted glass sculptor Ramon Orlina, Altro Mondo chairman and artistic director Regino David, French Ambassador Gilles Garachon and wife Isabelle, Gracita Sieber, wife of the Swiss Ambassador, former Bank of the Philippine Islands president and CEO Gigi Montinola, Mandarin Oriental, Manila communications director Charisse Chuidian, erstwhile hotelier Peter Jentes and gallery owner Silvana Diaz. Of course, everyone recognized the artist’s prominent last name: Alexander is the son of Philippe Charriol, the French entrepreneur behind the prestigious brand of watches, jewelry and accessories bearing his name.
