MANILA, Philippines - The highly anticipated amenities of The Beacon will all be ready by yearend, according to Geo-Estate Development Corp., which is building the three-tower residential resort community in the Makati Central Business District.
Miriam O. Katigbak, president and COO of Geo-Estate,says the amenities, including a 450-square-meter swimming pool, are in the nearly completed second building Arnaiz Tower, and they will be turned over to The Beacon’s condominium corporation which will manage, operate and maintain them.
“They are already preparing the rules for the use of the amenities,†she adds “They are the ones who will determine how the amenities will be used, what are the operating hours, and what are the charges, if any.â€
The condominium corporation also can lease out two of the three sky lounge sections of Arnaiz Tower for parties, Katigbak adds. The section at each side of the tower opens up to a garden while the middle section is where residents can lounge and relax.
Located at the corner of Don Chino Roces and Arnaiz Avenue, The Beacon’s amenities are mostly inside and outside the Arnaiz Tower. Aside from the 50-meter-long lap pool, outdoor amenities include landscaped gardens, a 300-meter jogging trail with exercise stations and a kiddie and toddler pool. Indoor amenities include a 225-square-meter two-level gym, a spa, lounge areas, four function rooms, including one that can be used as a dance studio, a first aid clinic and a playroom. In the top floor, there is a sky lounge, a 20-seater private theater and landscaped gardens.
The first building called Roces Tower, which was already turned over to unit owners, has its own amenities such as an elegant lobby with a concierge and two barbecue areas and four lounge areas in the rooftop, where the scenic Manila Bay and the Makati skyline can be viewed. Unit owners have used the rooftop for private gatherings and parties.
With all of The Beacon’s first rate amenities ready by end December, residents will feel like they are always on vacation while at home. The amenities will be enjoyable to families and their friends and relatives.
Katigbak says it is rare to find residential condominium communities with more amenities like that of The Beacon.
“Normally, other developments have a swimming pool, gym and playground. But we have a mini theater, spa, function rooms; it’s as complete as you can think of,†she says.
Katigbak says she understands the excitement and eagerness of homeowners to fully enjoy the amenities, so Geo-Estate is making sure that it does the job well to deliver the facilities in good order.
A maiden project of Geo-Estate, The Beacon offers affordable studio and 2-bedroom units in each building, including the 45-story Amorsolo Tower, which will soon start construction. Complementing the amenities is a commercial area consisting of 11 units ideal for shops.
