Wellness mania kicks off at Robinsons Supermarket

MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Supermarket, together with Unilever Philippines, launched Wellness Mania – a series of educational and experiential in-store activities to spread the message of wellness among Robinsons Supermarket shoppers.

Held at Robinsons Place Ermita, the launch event was hosted by TV host and fitness advocate Gelli Victor and graced by Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach, and provided guests and shoppers a chance to participate and listen to informative talks on the importance wellness and how we can incorporate this into our everyday lives.

Located at Robinsons Supermarket’s Discover Wellness Zone, Wellness mania features four booths for four areas of wellness – health and beauty, happy home, delicious and nutritious and share happiness.

At the booths, Wellness ambassadors provide shoppers with home care tips on how to start living a healthy and happy lifestyle. Cooking demos and product sampling make the activity more interactive and enjoyable.

Shoppers can also avail of special perks and free services like skin and hair analysis, makeovers, manicures and pedicures, calorie, fat and cholesterol counters, as well as consultations with a nutritionist. A minimum of P100 purchase of Unilever products is required to avail of services at the happy home, delicious and nutritious, and share happiness booths, while a minimum of P150 purchase of Unilever products is required in the health and beauty booth.

Highlight of the event was the presentation to Robinsons Supermarket of the “Best Business Impact” award from Unilever Global and Health Communication Best Practice Awards for its Living Wellness campaign which takes active part in improving the health and wellness of its shoppers.

“We are honored to have our efforts recognized by Unilever Global, and we will continue to promote healthy living by consistently educating and empowering our customers,” said Robinsons Supermarket general manager Jody Gadia.

Unilever is equally proud to present the award. “There is clearly a meeting of minds. Robinsons Supermarket’s Living Wellness campaign is fully in sync with the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP) of encouraging their stakeholders in adopting best business practices,” said Unilever Philippines vice president for customer development Carl Cruz.

The Wellness Mania will run until the end of the year in Robinsons Supermarkets nationwide.
