MANILA, Philippines - The Manor at Camp John Hay offers its activities during the Holy Week and Easter. Easter Eucharistic celebrations start with Palm Sunday Mass at The Manor Garden, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today. Visita Iglesia, a Maundy Thursday tradition of visiting seven churches around the city, is available for only P2,100 per shuttle with tour guide inclusive of packed snacks that are available upon request on March 28, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., for a minimum of two persons and a maximum of eight persons per group. The Stations of the Cross will be held from March 25-27 at the Sacred Heart Community Center. On Easter Sunday Mass will be held from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. at the 19th tee.
Activities for the young and the young at heart wait at The Manor Garden. Flora and Fauna allows you to embrace the beauty of nature in plants, flowers and fluttering butterflies at the enclosed garden. Likha ng mga Baguio Artists displays a spectrum of art expressions by young Baguio artists of the Victor Oteyza Community Art Space (V.O.C.A.S.) by Kidlat Tahimik at the Rock Garden. You may also experience the joy of watching farm animals at the Little Camp John Hay Mini Zoo. All of these activities are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A painting exhibit by brothers, Joey and Dexter Simsim, is set at The North Foyer. A sculpture exhibit by world-renowned artist Benhur Villanueva and his sons, Bumbo and Jik, are on display and also on sale at The Rose Garden. Fortune Telling is also offered by Madame Delia at The North Foyer.
The Manor’s Easter egg hunt is on Easter Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the North Wing facing Mile-Hi, for only P750 per person inclusive of Easter egg hunt, games, packed lunch and Easter loot bags and goodies.
