Straight Up: What a view

MANILA, Philippines - The evolving cityscape is clearly the main attraction at Straight Up, the roof deck bar of the newly opened Seda Bonifacio Global City Hotel. To the west is a linear park flanked on both sides by hundreds of retail stores and the restaurants of Bonifacio High Street.  To the east are the vibrant and diverse residential communities of Taguig and Laguna de Bay. The perspective from Straight Up reveals recently constructed landmarks that have infused new vibrancy to the former military camp — now a new business district that encourages a live-work-play environment.

A view is best enjoyed with good company, fine drink and food, and upbeat surroundings, all of which can be had at Straight Up. Its spacious al fresco area and private rooms, designed by architect Conrad Onglao, features pieces by award-winning furniture designer Ann Pamintuan. Eentertainment is provided by DJ Cocoy Puyat.

Straight Up also invites guests to explore the rest of Seda BGC. The new urban lifestyle hotel with 179 rooms is the flagship of a series of Seda properties.

“Seda hotels have been envisioned to be integral parts of the vibrant Ayala Land communities,” says Seda group general manager Andrea Mastellone.

New Seda properties are also rising around the country: Centrio in Cagayan de Oro is now operational; Seda Abreeza in Davao is set to open in March; and Seda Hotel in Nuvali, Laguna, is set to open end of 2013.
