MANILA, Philippines - Premier developers, architects, interior designers and real estate agents across the globe are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the winners of the hotly contested International Property Awards. Having won at national and regional level, the next stage of the competition is for the top-scoring winners from each category to take on the world by competing against one other. Companies represented their respective regions in the grand final — Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, Middle East, UK, Canada, Caribbean, Central & South America and the USA. Following a further scrutiny by the judges, the ultimate World’s Best in each category in the grand final at the J W Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London last Dec. 7.
The Philippines and Asia Pacific was represented at the World’s Best Lettings Agency Awards — through CBRE Philippines, which won the Asia Pacific Best Lettings Agency earlier on this year. CBRE Philippines competed against regional winners Global Investment Properties for Africa, Smith & Ken for Arabia, and Aidan J Reed for UK. CBRE Philippines is the only joining company from the Philippines to have successfully made it at both the Asia Pacific and World Categories.

The International Property Awards are the world’s most prestigious property competition and cover residential as well as commercial categories. Judging is carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of over 80 experts and covering every aspect of the property business. The judges are not only looking for the most impressive and innovative projects, they are also examining the sustainability and eco-friendliness of every property and development that comes under their scrutiny.
