Orientalism redefined through jewelry

The eastern part of the world, including the Philippines, presents a lot of opulent and immense concepts backed by the rich history of each nation. Taking the idea behind the vast yet very strong culture of the east are jewelers and good friends Kristine Dee and Paul Syjuco as they recently launched their fine jewelry collection called “Orientalism.” The intimate trunk show was held at Chef Jessie at the Rockwell Club, Makati over afternoon tea banquet where a select group of close friends were amazed by the cosmopolitan and unique pieces of jewelry.

The chic Tosca the Italian Grill at Dusit Thani Manila treated guests recently to a sumptuous medley of Italian appetizers, entrees and desserts paired with the wondrous flavors of upscale Italian wines from Casa Vinicola Zonin — Prosecco, Valpolicella, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay.  Tosca restaurant manager Edwin Macapagal led Dusit Thani Manila food and beverage director Gilbert Uy and other stylish guests, among them, BestWorld Beverage Brands, Incorporated president and general manager Edna Diaz,  Diageo Philippines managing director Arif Esenc and the lovely Natalia Geigl.
