It was a joyful evening of great food, excellent company and good vibes as Myrna Yao, the dynamic Richwell Trading Corporation president and chief executive officer, celebrated her special day at the luxurious Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City spearheaded by brilliant general manager Prateek Kumar. Family and friends took time off their busy schedules to take part in the celebration. Myrna was overwhelmed with happiness as she received the outpouring of love and warm greetings by people close to her heart. The splendid gathering lasted till late with guests thoroughly enjoying the delectable cuisines and premium wines prepared by the hotel’s impeccable staff. Gracing the affair were prominent personalities including Golden Arches Corporation chairman and founder George Yang, RFM Corporation chief executive officer and president Joey Concepcion, Vibal Publishing House Inc. president Esther Vibal, ambassador Delia Albert and architect Jun Palafox.
A toast to Henry
The Embassy of Argentina headed by Ambassador Joaquin Daniel Otero and Minister Jaime Goldaracena recently hosted a wine-tasting event at the Palm Grove at Rockwell. Talk of the evening was Henry, the premium wine brought in by young entrepreneurs Bobby Tenchavez and Carlo Lorenzana from the Lagarde Vineyards in Lujan de Cujo, Mendoza, Argentina. Named after the vineyard owner Enrique “Henry” Pescarmona, Henry is made from the blend of grapes selected by a panel of experts who choose the best of the annual harvest and only 8,000 bottles are produced each year from that batch. Needless to say, everyone that night was excited to taste the imported wine.
