The fun never stops with Minerva
More than the usual Christmas parties, the gleeful Minerva Tanseco gathered her groups of friends for a fun-filled Christmas celebration filled with games and surprises followed by a meaningful fund-raising concert produced by cultural guru Martin Lopez for Bacolod’s Vallehermoso Foundation at the Ritz Towers in Makati featuring Canada-based Filipina soprano Lilac Caña. Being in Minerva’s company is always a treat with her endless ideas in creating great memories with every gathering. Now, we can’t wait for the plethora of festivities this year with Minerva!

Bringing Vienna closer to Manila
The Johann Strauss Society of the Philippines (JSSP) marks the beginning of a series of cultural events for 2011 with the traditional Vienna New Year Concert slated on February 9, at 7:00 pm at the Lobby Lounge of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Austrian conductor doctor Ernest Hoetzl will be flown in from Vienna to conduct The Manila Symphony Orchestra. Lauded as one of the most elegant events of the year filled with delightful music, the series of events is led by the steering committee (from left) event co-chairperson Tanzania consul Betty Chua, JSSP chairman Monaco consul general Fortune Ledesma, JSSP president Olga Severino Martel, event co-chairperson Mila How and JSSP Ways and Means chairperson Gambia consul Agnes Huibonhoa.
