Luxe wooden pieces

MANILA, Philippines - Philux, one of the country’s renowned furniture brands with over 30 years in creating quality furniture, presents its holiday collection that takes modern elegance a notch higher.

The collection showcases a muted palette with subtle textures such as woven plastic fibers and brushed stainless steel in Philux’s brand of solid wood including New Zealand radiata, Philippine mahogany and narra. Neutral tones and clean lines provide a calming space, while splashes of color can be added through throw pillows and other home accents.

“The designs stemmed from our sensibility of interior trends combined with an understanding of practical yet elegant living. This year’s collection is especially meaningful to us as it’s truly a family collaboration. Jessica, my younger sister who is currently studying interior design at Parsons NYC, had also input her own ideas,” enthuses Stephanie Kienle, marketing manager, Philux.

Always evolving forward, Philux looks into the international scene for design inspiration.

“Most of our designs are inspired by our travels and worldwide trends. We stick to our specialty, which is wood manufacturing, but we incorporate it with other materials such as stainless steel to give our pieces a modern twist. We try to enhance the beauty of the wood and give it an urban flair. Hong Kong, Singapore, and cities like New York and Paris are big inspiration destinations for us for this line,” adds Kienle.

The Philux brand name assures its clients of quality and continuous service before, during and after sales. Quality is monitored at every stage of production — from wood cutting, carpentry, sanding to finishing. It is only after the final quality control that Philux labels its furniture with its trademark stamp. After every sale, furniture owners are welcome to have their piece re-polished and refurbished depending on their needs.

Aside from consultations and servicing, Philux also offers bridal registry for newlyweds. The brand’s entire catalog allows would-be couples to choose which furniture piece best suits their home. Big-ticket items such as living or dining sets can be divided into several gifts from multiple guests.

Soon, Philux will launch their e-commerce program, making it more accessible and convenient for customers to fulfill their furnishing needs.

With skilled craftsmanship and a touch of modern elegance, you are sure that your furniture will last a long time and the pieces from Philux’s holiday collection might just fit the bill.

Philux has four showrooms located at Ayala Town Center, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA Interior Zone and Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. For inquiries, visit www.philux-inc.com.
