Run like the wind

The Philippine Cancer Society, (PCS) has once more succeeded in raising half a million pesos to further cancer research in the country by way of the Terry Fox Run, organized in cooperation with the Canadian Embassy. Over 1,500 individuals, led by Ambassador Peter Sutherland of Canada, celebrities like Ronnie Ricketts and Ricardo Cepeda and members of the Board of the Philippine Cancer Society, chairman Roberto M. Paterno, president George Jorge Eufemio and executive director Quintin Tan participated in the event. The Terry Fox Foundation was named after a Canadian boy who succumbed to the deadly disease of cancer in 1981 and started the first marathon to raise funds for cancer research. Congratulations to the Philippine Cancer Society for such a significant event! Join the next Terry Fox Run in Cebu this July!

Keep it up!

Smooth Grooves At The Palms
The energy level at The Palms when popular band Side A visited was high, as with all events and happenings that take place at premier club community of Alabang. The exclusive private enclave for both business and pleasure brings club lifestyle to a new level with thrilling events for members and their families. This time, the refreshing three-hectare oasis held a concert with 105.1 Crossover at the club’s spacious pool area.
