MANILA, Philippines – On an average, your body loses 1 to 1.5 liters of water a day. Rule of thumb says that you need to drink a total of eight glasses of water to stay hydrated. But if you are planning on following Pope Francis’ journey here in the Philippines, eight glasses of water aren’t enough.

During the Papal visit, you will do a lot of walking, therefore you will lose more fluid and energy in your body. Contrary to what people mostly know, water is not the only substance that could replenish and reenergize the body.
