Manila, Philippines - Knick Knacks, those flavorful and favorite biscuit snacks among kids, made one weekend even more exciting with the holding of the “Snack Time is Knick Knacks Time” event at the SM Megamall.
With a P50 purchase of Knick Knacks Enrobed Fish biscuits, those bite-size biscuits coated in yummilicious chocolate, choco on choco, milk, and strawberry, all the kids — and even their parents — had a fantastic time as they enjoyed playing lots of games in the various booths, games like “Finding Nick,” “Hungry Nick,” and “Knick Knacks Tetris Battle.” They also enjoyed themselves at the face painting, photo and movie booths.
In the morning, event guests marveled at several magicians and jugglers who wowed the crowd with their impressive magic tricks and the jugglers’ awesome display of juggling skills.
Later in the afternoon during the program, however, was when the fun actually began.
Hosted by DJ Toni of Tambayan 101.9 of FM station DWRR, the program went into full gear as participants in the “Knick Knacks Fashionista” competition (a mother and her daughter per team) showed their stuff via a mini fashion show. The “Dance Battle” contestants, on the other hand, strutted their stuff onstage in front of judges Nilo Chincuanco, Robert Harn, and Collins Arellano, a professional choreographer and dancer.
In the end, three winners emerged, with Aereonne Pagtakhan bagging first place, while Trixie Nicole Wico won second place and Derryle Mizel Supsupin came in at third place. On the other hand, Next Level Octomix, Junior New System, and Huck Finn Dance Crew claimed first, second, and third place honors, respectively, during the “Dance Battle” dance competition.
The biggest highlight of the event was the launch of Knick Knacks’ X Blast products where guests got to taste Cheeznacks, Dip-A-Snack in choco/strawberry and Funbites, also in choco/strawberry/milk flavor. The launch of the Knick Knacks X Blast products was very timely since they make a very good alternative baon for kids going back to school.
Knicks Knacks is manufactured and distributed in the Philippines by Delfi Foods, Inc.
