MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos have become more health-conscious and Healthway Medical, aiming to better serve the Filipino market, recently extended its professional and personal care to mall-goers through its Wellness Fair last October 15 at the Alabang Town Center Activity Hall.
Mall-goers availed themselves of free bone screening, cholesterol screening, dental screening, and colon assessment, among other procedures offered during the whole-day event. More than 17 participating merchants and companies in the fair also gave away free product samples and discounts.
“The wellness fair was a big help in reminding me, as well as other mall-goers, of the importance of adopting a preventive lifestyle,” says Lolita Ongos, fair participant.
“This is one of our ways of reaching out to Filipinos so that they can also experience our ‘Mas Alaga, Mas Tiwala, Mas Masigla’ campaign,” notes Joven Alcala, Healthway marketing manager. “Healthway also wants to ensure that personal care is not confined within the consultation rooms but also brought to areas where people usually go, particularly the malls.”
